I have been taking our "wonder dog" to Susan for a couple years. I found Susan after a former groomer in Covington kept my dog in an extremely small kennel for 8 hours, saying "You didn't specify a time to pick him up"...Susan has NEVER had him longer than 2 hours...and she is EXTREMELY good at working us in...As a matter of fact, I JUST picked up our wonder dog after calling yesterday in a panic hoping to get him in--On top of everything, we are extremely happy with the cut, wash, and attention that is given. I Won't Take My Dog Anywhere Else! – I've taken Lola Belle to Biscuits, PetSmart, and Petco. They did an okay job, but Lola Belle is a mixed breed and they all charged me according to the poodle price for a groom. Way too expensive for my pocketbook! I saw Susan's ad in our local paper, The Mirror, and decided to try her grooming services. I'm so glad I did. Regarding ddw21 review – Desi, Sorry to hear you were unhappy with Romeo's grooming. I had not seen him in over a year. He is a cocker that was in full coat and MATTED. My basic price for a standard cocker trim is $45.75. I charged another 9.75 for dematting bringing the total to $58.50. Your brother tipped me 5.50, for a grand total of $64.00. You could have called me with your complaints and I would have been happy to work something out. I aim to please all of my customers. Susan
Overpriced and horrible job – My experience has been horrible. For my last visit I was charged $64.00 for a standard cut. On top of the astronomical price for a standard haircut, my dog was bleeding in the process. My dog currently has a large wound on his stomach from the groomer cutting him with sheers. I would never, take my dog here again. If you care about your animal you won't either.

Dezi, I'm sorry to hear that you were so unhappy with the grooming on Romeo. If I nick him with my shears, it was unintentional. He is a Cocker in full coat and I hadn't seen him in over a year. My price for a standard Cocker trim is $45.75 since he was matted I added 9.75 for a total of 58.50. A tip of 5.50 brought the total to $64.00. Top Groomer in South King County – tried Petsmart and Petco - pretty expensive and it seems like it's a bunch of kids just making a buck much different feeling at Dog S'Paw - I think it's because you are working directly with the owner
