If you’re a dog lover this tour is worth every penny if you can manage to get a reservation. The dogs are happy, not stressed and love their job. They are very sweet and affectionate. It’s beautiful to be out in the Montana wilderness with these amazing creatures. Jeff does a great job caring for them.

This experience with Jeff and his dogs- being guided by Jeff on the sled with the dogs up ahead… has been one of the top experiences of my life… and I can’t wait to do it again. It was meditative, deeply soothing and honestly profound traveling through the snow covered pristine woods watching these beautiful dogs work joyfully together to pull you along. This was a hard one. The guide/owner was super nice and I truly believe he loves his dogs. Most of them are rescues from unwanted homes and shelters. The dogs do seem to love pulling the sleigh. They were so excited. The ride through the woods was amazing. It was beautiful and a lot of fun. However, with all that being said it was very hard to see over 100 dogs tied up to small dog houses with chains. Some were really skinny and pretty dirty. A few of them were shivering. Such a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to anyone. The guides and owner are great people who care a great deal for these pups! It was so cool seeing those pups so happy at work.
