Not many options when traveling and this worked just fine. Bark over the rock helped.
Stopped by this dog park while traveling through New Mexico. Since we’re in the desert, it’s hard to find grassy areas, but I really appreciated that the ground here isn’t just dirt — it’s covered in wood chips. That makes a big difference, especially with the intense heat during the day. It’s much more comfortable and cleaner than sand, dirt, or rocks. Great stop for a break with the pup!

Be careful if you let your dog in. Trash and dog poop everywhere cuz people don’t pick up after their pets.
