After having only 2 apt's with Dr. Doerner, I would not recommend him to any family or friends. I went to see him for an acute pain injury on my 2nd apt. When he walked into the exam room he asked how I was, I began to respond, trying to explain the cause of injury, my interventions (massages, ice, heat, NSAIDS with minimal relief) but he cut off my him saying "I just need to know where the pain is". My husband and I really tried to give this guy a chance and saw him several times. Consistently an aggravating to infuriating experience. Dr. Doerner will only listen to one problem or symptom per visit. Then you are abruptly cut off and told you must make another appointment for him to evaluate any other problems. For example

The first time I saw this doctor was for an annual checkup. I asked about a problem I was having and he said, I'll look at it but I can't do anything about it today.

Here we have a doctor and office staff who think they're doing us a big favor by seeing us. I took off work today to go to an appointment here. I had downloaded their "New Patient Packet" from their web-site, printed, filled out the forms, and had them in hand. After letting me sit in their waiting room for 45 minutes, I was informed that the doctor wouldn't be seeing me because I didn't fill out the forms online! Just like that; I'm not making this up.
