The furance has cooled the refinery has stopped and jobs have moved on . Remediation looks to be in full swing even on Sunday. One stack is mostly down but the second still stands like an obelisk over the river. It will take some time to clean up the historic sight and turn it into the envisioned shipping port. Will return later to follow up.

It's awesome how it all works. Plus we go down and sit along the river. Just my husband my kids and myself. You can walk the river or down a trail. We love to build a fire and watch the barges go by. It's truly amazing to see. It makes you think about everything it takes to get those hauls up and down the Mississippi River.. And one day walking along the river I found a coconut 🥥 wonder how that got there 🤔 lol.
