We bought a Dodson Custom Home in 2007. In the first 6 months we had sewage backing up into our showers and bathtubs. Plumbing leaks that caused mold and required mold remediation in our infant son's room, foundation issues that required EXTENSIVE foundation repairs, carpet installed incorrectly, and many painting issues including globs of paint dripped on carpet, baseboards, and tile. If I could give them zero stars I would! PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE do not buy from this builder! From the start I should have listened to my gut when red flags were flying during escrow. They stood us up on two different occassions where we had scheduled a walk through. They then just wanted us to write up a list of things that needed fixed and they would complete them by closing. Half the list was still not done on closing day and almost a year later we are still struggling to get them to fix their errors and other issues that ... read more
