My mother passed away in 2019. My Father paid over 10,000 for his and her monument. Pre paid for his own engraving....He passed away 5-4-25. Dodds still has not engraved his death date on his side of the stone. Here it is 15 months later! I get the same response, just behind. Meanwhile, I see new monuments popping up w a death date more recent than his. Apparently, dont prepay!! You'll never get it.
Dodd’s Memorials is amazing. They are compassionate, kind and very patient. My sisters, dad, and I designed our mother’s headstone in 2018. My sisters and I lost our dad tragically in 2025 and Dodd’s was so supportive and helpful during the design of his headstone when we were all in such a dark spot. The headstones are both beautiful memorials for our parents and we are so thankful we chose Dodd’s.
May 2025 I ordered a flat marker for my mothers gravesite. Finally, March 2026 I received photos of the installed marker as I live out of state and was anxious to see it after waiting so long. Three weeks later I flew to Ohio to place flowers at her site. To my surprise, her marker had not been installed on her gravesite. It had been installed on someone else’s grave. The initial experience with Jacqui was outstanding. She is so very compassionate and caring about your choices and guided us through the process of selecting our headstone as well as our marker for our family plot. I can’t say enough about Jacqui. We waited for several months not hearing anything. I finally called Jacqui even though she had been moved to a different location. She let us know that they didn’t know if the base had been poured at the cemetery, which she called Josh right away and found it had been poured. So we... read more
