Drs choice assisted living has some great nurses, mainly males. They are really nice. The problem is the food . You would think whoever makes decisions on the food for these patients would realize they are old , more than likely have very little teeth, have diabetes or heart issues & spend most their time in bed. So why would their meals be hot dogs, Mac n cheese & chile? Sometimes veggies that include broccoli & cabbage which are known to cause gas. They are not teenagers & can’t eat that way, it hurts them. My mother has been there for several years. My sister put her there. Not a very good place what I seen, I'm out of state. The situation is out of my control. Food was horrible. Dark and dreary. I could go on .......

Please do not consider Doctor’s Choice as an option for your assisted living needs. I was molested by a caregiver there during my 6 week stay in 2018. The in-house doctor cancelled every appointment (3). As a result, the infection in my hip went undetected resulting in a total hip replacement. Medication given by confused staff, very disturbing.
