I had a very good experience with the two gentlemen that came out to inspect and possibly clean our chimney. My husband and I just bought a house that has a fireplace with a wood stove insert. Neither one of us have had one before and they both took the time to go over with me how to use it. They were so patient and knowledgeable. I would also like to point out that they could have said the chimney needed cleaned and charged me for it, because I really wouldn't have known if it needed clean. I would typically never leave a review. But this is a must…… horrible experience and horrible service. We’ve had Shay Carpenter (owner) out after installing our new wood stove pipe less than one year ago and have had to ask him not once but 6x to come back to “fix” water leak. Because every time it rains , it leaks down onto our wood stove in our house. Today’s visit he sealed the “ valley” of the roof. I own a property in Jefferson City and my insurance required my chimney be cleaned and creosote be removed from exterior. My tenant contact Doctor Sweep who arrived and she explained to them what my insurance was requiring. She claims she was told the chimneys would be cleaned, rust was located on the flue and would be removed and creosote cleaned from the exterior. (I have a wonderful tenant who has no reason to lie.)
