Priya Murthy MD Dr. Murthy received her BS from VCU in Richmond, VA and her Master of Public Health from George Washington University in Washington DC. After working in research at MedStar Health, she obtained her MD from St. Christopher College of Medicine in the UK. She completed her residency in Family Medicine from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She moved back home to Virginia after completing her training and is really enjoying serving the community where she grew up.

I Highly recommend Dr. Priya Murthy as a family doctor . She is very knowledgeable and very quick in response of any medical related questions . She won’t rush and listens all your medical concerns with patience and clarify all your douts in person and also in virtual appointments. She is very professional and down to earth person. I could give her 10 stars if I could. Finding her has been a blessing. She is so caring and takes the time to hear all my concerns. I feel really comfortable speaking with her and I LOVE that she personally calls to follow up after your visit with labs results or next steps. Everytime I go to see her, I am try to be very understanding when they take some time to call me because I know she takes her time with each patient she sees. She is the best!
Had such a wonderful experience with Dr.Murthy. She listened to my symptoms and gave me a plan to help alleviate them. Her bedside manner is beyond anything I’ve experienced in all my doctors in the past. Check in was easy and I made my appointment on their website. So relieved to have found such a kind and intelligent doctor.
Dr. Murthy is professional, compassionate and just an overall nice person. She listens when you are explaining, she makes sure she understands your need and works hard to resolve your issue. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care doctor. I first found Dr. Murthy when I was living in Lorton VA, and have since moved to MD and continue to go back to VA for my visits.
