BEST DAMN PIZZA IN WISCONSIN! – I'm in my 50's & I'm a thin crust pizzaholic (new word). I been all over this state tryin out pizza joints. And there are some crappy places out there. To me DOC'S is the best thin crust pizza ANYWHERE! They are loaded with toppings & are just delicious. DOC'S is not a fancy place, a nice bar with some tables & a view of Pewaukee Lake. Believe all the rave reviews printed lately about the tasty thin crust pizza at Doc's Dry Dock on Pewaukee Lake. I've enjoyed the crispy, generously topped pizza at this tiny (5 tables and a bar) old fisherman's tavern for over 23 years and it's still some of the BEST I've ever eaten ANYWHERE! Since they were recently named in Milwaukee Magazine's March 2010 issue as being one of the BEST PIZZA proprietors in Milwaukee the secrets out of the bag and finding a table during prime eating time could be tougher. Finally recognized as one of Milwaukee's BEST PIZZAS! Doc's Dry Doc Serves an OUTSTANDING thin crust pizza thats loaded with tasty toppings! Honored in Milwaukee Magazine's (March 2010 issue) BEST PIZZA in Milwakee. Easily one of the BEST tasting pizzas I've ever had! Doc's is a tiny ( 5 tables and a bar) older establishment hidden off of the main roads on the north shore of Pewaukee Lake. It's a bit tough to find but well worth the search. This place has some of the best pizza I have ever eaten, but they also have delicious sandwiches! Very casual atmosphere, and friendly staff.
Best Pizza in the Area Docs has the best Pizza in the area. It is covered in toppings. You may have to wait for the pizza, because it is so popular, but it is worth the wait. The staff is always very pleasant.
Seconding the motion This is by far THE best pizza in the area. Hidden away in Pewaukee, its well worth the time and effort to enjoy the outstanding pizza Doc's serves. Right on Pewaukee Lake, it also has a dock if you choose to motor over on the boat.
