I couldn’t be more happier with my new Dockmate remote control. Works like a charm! The installer Mike Parks was beyond helpful. His customer service is very professional! He actually moved his boat out of his slip so we could have his slip for 4 days. Thanks so much Captain Mike!
I put there system on my 52 Sunseeker a couple of years ago in Northern Michigan, Bay Harbor. I was going to cancel the install but Dockmate and there installer in Holland offered me a 1000 rebate. I put it in and over 2 years later they welched on the rebate, Bergmann Marine can’t even get them on the phone now who they were suppose to credit. I’ll buy a Yacht Controller for my next boat.
I am a looper traveling alone, and the Dockmate has proved to be invaluable. It is very important that all of your attached components i.e. , Batteries, thrusters and steering are all up to snuff. Installation time is short and my customer support has been great. It doesn’t get 5 stars only because it is limited by the boats components. Bottom line, after a short learning curve it is invaluable
I have a Dockmate Twist on my Meridian 391, and recently upgraded to the Dockmate DPS Ocean Mode system. Dockmate has been a total game changer for us. My wife had an incident a few years ago, she fell off the boat at our dock. The event traumatized her and left her with PTSD and a fairly negative feeling about boating and boat trips. She would frequently freeze up on deck while trying to toss a line or hold a fender. I recently had a new Dockmate system installed by Captain Michael in Baltimore, and the entire experience was excellent. The installation was done professionally, cleanly, and with great attention to detail. Captain Michael took the time to walk me through every part of the setup, explained how to use the system, and made sure everything worked perfectly before finishing up.
