This is a delightful little museum, dedicated to the music and memory of a man who was a genuine American treasure. There's a lot to see and learn even for longtime fans, with signs and stories throughout which were handwritten by Doc's daughter. I highly recommend that anyone stop by while visiting the area! They're only regularly open on Saturdays at present, but if you email them ahead of time, they may be able to accommodate you on a weekday, as they did for me.
A beautifully curated museum commemorating Doc Watson and his family, history and legacy. What an incredible and special place.
