We've been coming to Dover for over 10 years and Doc's used to be our favorite place to eat. Since late 2016, we have noticed a steady decline in the quality and quantity of food and service. We came about a month ago and they were out of so many basic foods it was pathetic. Today we ate lunch there and my husband ordered a medium rare burger and it comes out well done and inedible. We had some issues with our food while we were here but the manager made things right once we told her about our experience.
Very pricey and this seems to be the one place in Dover where I don't "love" anything on the menu, possibly due to seeing the prices on things I typically lean towards. Atmosphere is great, service hit or miss. If you want it quiet, ask for a booth because the patio suffers from constant casino noise, but works depending on your mood. Trivia game on Wednesdays in patio section!
