Brought hubby here for his birthday dinner and we both LOVED it! When you first walk in, theres a bar area and you're thinking "omg its so loud" but dont worry, the actual dining area is separate... and its sexy. I love the red and the dark lighting. I've been trying to find the right romantic spot for us and this was it. The food was delicious as well! I will say, I didn't love the scallop crispy rice BUT everything else was amazing. Food, drinks, atmosphere and company were GREAT. Colin was all things pleasant.
Excellent drinks, fine-to-bad food. The drinks and bar staff were fantastic, and the seasonal drink menu was creative and tasty. Had 4 drinks and loved each one. Got the crispy rice flight, and was not impressed. The rice seemed to have been cooked > 30 min ago, as it was about room temp and a little less crispy than it should be. The fish was low quality - the tuna had ligaments in it still that made it hard to eat, and I’m fairly certain the “scallops” were pressed surimi paste or another imitation scallop.
I’d heard some really good things about this place, and when I found out it was Black-owned, I definitely wanted to show my support. I went on a Saturday, and ladies (and gents), if you’re looking for a little eye candy, come on in! 😂 The male staff looked like they could either be in the NBA or walking a runway.
