I drove across town to use a coupon that said, :$23.95 plus $8.25 certificate fee." He wrote up the order at $40.00. When I pointed out that $22.95 and $8.25 wasn't $40.00 he said there was an additional "mandatory electronic transmission fee" that had been omitted on the coupon. Not wanting to go elsewhere at that point, I signed the work order for $40.00. Then when finished, he asked if it was cash or card. I handed a debit card (not a credit card).
