I contacted this shop because I had already purchased a starter and simply needed it installed. I made it clear I was not requesting diagnostics, only the installation of the part. The shop explained I’d need to sign paperwork acknowledging that if the starter didn’t fix the issue, I’d still be responsible for the labor — which I completely understood and agreed with.
