Dr.Shuster is very good and cares.Over the last 10 years I have seen numerous Physicians.When Dr.Shuster interacts with me I feel confident I have the best.
Dr. Bhandari explained my retinal detachment and the surgery well and created a sense of calm confidence that made a very scary situation less so. His staff was caring and empathetic. Overall they made the experience much less stressful, which was greatly appreciated. I feel lucky that we have a surgeon of his caliber here in Springfield.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Shuster for 3 years for several issues. At first I was unhappy because he was quite blunt about my fatty liver disease and he insisted I quit smoking and drinking. Ultimately I can tell he really cares. After 20 years of smoking and drinking I am now done with both thanks to him. He’s helped me lose 45 pounds and my liver numbers are normal. Dr Ryan is the best of the best. Personable, pleasant and easy to talk to. He successfully managed a very difficult aortic stent in my husbands abdomen. We are forever thankful that he was in Dr Ryans skilled hands. G Ortman
Amazing doctor. I’ve had reflux for 18 years and had been on omeprazole forever. He figured out my stomach valve wasn’t working and he did a TIF surgery and fixed my reflux. I haven’t taken any meds and feel like I did when I was 25!
I love Dr. Ma!!! I had the tip of my finger cut off in a car door. All the surgeons in my area wanted to amputate it but I refused. I had had good luck with the surgeons at Springfield Clinic before and asked them to call and see if they had a hand doctor who could look at it. We drove 2 1/2 hours to Springfield. Dr. Ma met us at the Emergency Room where he performed a cross flap reconstruction. My finger is now almost good as new!!!! Thank you Dr. Ma!!! :-)
First treated for a finger injury at ER. He spent less than a minute with me then sent a resident to stitch me up. A week later I called for an appointment to have the sutures removed. It took a full week to get that appointment. The nurse removed them then sent in the Doc. He looked at it and muttered something incomprehensible to a guy taking notes. I cannot adequately state how amazing it is to find a physician with the ability to communicate medical conditions clearly and in easily understood terms. The care he exhibits to his patients is truly exceptional and rarely found in the medical profession as has been my experience. This personal interaction is what compelled me to leave this review. Doc is really good. He talks quickly but listens well. He likes to draw pictures which really helps understand stuff. He took care of me during my procedure and fixed my bil duct.
