Dr. Gerber is not my current GYN doctor but for the times he has filled in & assisted me while my doctor was out of the office, I feel he is a great doctor. Dr. Gerber is very patient, thorough when explaining, compassionate, & comforting. He is extremely knowledgeable which makes me feel very safe in his care. I even plan on trying to switch over to him full time. I am very comfortable having him as my doctor - he takes his time and explains everything .
Dr. Gerber released me as a patient during Covid because at week 12 I had an DVT and high risk pregnancy. He did not provide me with options for care although at the time he was my only doctor for week 4 of my pregnancy to week 13. I was told to figure it out in the middle of a pandemic- my very first time being pregnant. This was very traumatic. As a woman of color I felt he left me to die. While I have had positive experiences with the physician Dr.Gerber , I have encountered significant challenges with Summit Health's scheduling process. The wait times for appointments are consistently long, ranging from 30 to 45 days. Additionally, I have been informed that all laboratory tests, ULTRASOUND,XRAYS must be done only at their facility. To make matters more difficult, appointments are frequently canceled at the last minute, even after waiting for an extended period to get an appointment. This has caused considera... read more
