DM Productions was the VERY FIRST company to offer karaoke in Boston. Owned and operated by Dan McCarthy, a professional sports DJ who has played for all 5 Pro Sports Teams including 13 years with the Bruins and Celtics.

Our experience with Dan and DM Productions was nothing short of amazing! Dan met with us before our wedding for an initial walkthrough and we knew that he was the DJ for us! He isn't the type of DJ that just presses play on a playlist and let's it go, he reads the room, builds up the mood, and will keep people dancing for hours! We highly recommend DM productions! During our first meeting (when we were finding a DJ), he showed us a PowerPoint and played music for us. It was so clear just how prepared he was and this remained throughout the entire planning process. He came to our venue walk through to ensure he knew where to set up his equipment. We had an amazing experience using DM productions for our wedding. Could not have gone more smoothly. They were professional, reasonable in price and very well prepared for our event. Our DJ, Gabe, made the night with his energy and enthusiasm and got the whole crowd on the dance floor all night with a mix of our custom playlist and guest requests. Could not recommend more highly!
DJ Dan got the dance floor going at our wedding, which was important to me as someone who loves to dance! He was also super communicative with all the logistics leading up to the big day – capturing song requests, and all the little details for emceeing that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. He also provided a photo booth which our guests loved (including a guestbook with copies of each photo + handwritten notes which were a nice touch!) Highly recommend booking Dan & his team for your event!
DJ Dan is AWESOME. We didn’t stress at all about music, the DJ set up, or keeping people on the dance floor. He was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. His professionalism was exceptional. I would highly recommend DJ Dan and his team for a stress free experience.
