Working with Derek Hultenius and the team at DM Hultenius Corporation was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our project was a fairly extensive job (complete gutting of 3/4 of the house; full new kitchen; master suite expansion, adding 300 sf; guest bathroom; living room, fireplace, and dining room; back patio; roof.). Derrick and his staff were outstanding from the beginning plans to the final completion. He renovated our kitchen while we were away and I had no hesitation that our home was in good hands. From a 1970 kitchen to an ultra modern show boat. His designers Kelley and Kristi went above and beyond with both products and design. Always there and available when they were needed. I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with DM Hultenius Corporation. After receiving a bid for my project, I accepted it right away. Then, I was told I needed to pay $1,500 so they can draw up plans. I paid the money, expecting the project to move forward, but instead, I was met with months of delays and ghosting. The contractor would only respond once every 2 to 4 weeks, usually with long-winded emails apologizing for their unprofessionalism.
