About this business

History Established in 1957. David L. Kachel, a Whitewater native, recognized the need for affordable off-campus housing options for UW-Whitewater students. The company began in 1957 and has continued to grow in its housing portfolio, offering a variety of housing options--from single bedroom apartments to multi-bedroom houses. In those years, D.L.K. I have lived here for almost 2 years now while going to college. Honestly the building isn’t bad or price but the management is terrible. I live in a building with one washer and dryer, in months before and currently I have been forced to walk acrossed the street to another one of their buildings with loads of dirty clothes to do laundry due to the dryer being broken for WEEKS, then after 3 weeks of calling they “replace” the dryer with ANOTHER BROKEN DRYER. Now most recently, DLK has not notified us about a new parking pass for the fall semester, even when our parking is free. They never notified my roommates and I about a new... read more
