0/5 literally the worst apartment company you can rent from. Horrible management/maintenance, they tow cars for fun, and will never see you as a tenant just as a number in their monopoly. Good luck getting your security deposit back because you might get charged for a spill or stain that happened 10 years ago. Rent is cheap but doesn’t give them the right to treat you bad in the office and over the phone. Definitely rent from them if you like the smell of weed and like getting charged extra for random things. Good luck!
My son rented at Simon suite apartments for 2 years. He had no issues at all. I was worried w all the bad reviews, but he had a great experience and he received his entire security deposit back. There is someone always answering the phone for questions we had. We would recommend.
As a first-time renter, DLK set my expectations for apartment living pretty low. I wish we had a Zohran Mamdani in Wisconsin to go after Slum-lords like DLK. They are VERY MUCH a monopoly in whitewater, and just like all monopolies, they abuse their power. I live in the nicest rentals they have in town, and even then I still have to run the shower water for 2min before the water is anything more than lukewarm. Along with one of the bedrooms in my apartment having a horrible stench come from it. Just like any monopoly, DLK’s lack of competition makes them provide shitty apartments at a price way higher than they’re worth. If you’re thinking of moving here for college, either 1: live on campus 2: find another renter in town 3: live in one of the little neighboring towns 10-15min from the campus
