"Re-do"ing a parking lot is not blacktopping over the shitty pavement and painting fresh lines... it's gonna look like shit after the first snow. Making people move their cars with no notice beyond a few scraps of paper around the building... failing to respond to maintenance requests and then charging from the security deposit to fix wear and tear issues you were informed of at the beginning of the semester. Almost worse than Madison student landlords.

I stayed at DLK while I attended the university , there and I have to say that it is not the best but it is also not the absolute worst , I was in a single studio unit and you get what you are paying for , when ever anything happened in the building they were very quick to respond I like how the only bill that the tenant had to pay for was electric it seems like they were very generous and whenever anything was happening they would either post it on the building's entrance/exit or if it was a particular unit such as showings... read more

The apartments being listed as “furnished” is a scam. The furniture is what you would see on the side of the road as garbage. And when you say you don’t want the furniture, it costs $100 to have it moved. Then they move it to another apartment and charge the next kid who also can’t afford it. The dresser is broken, the couch has holes and springs poking through. It’s just garbage being moved from one apartment to the next. And don’t get me started on the carpet.

Literally the worst people you can rent from in Whitewater. I have been renting from them the past two years and they are always rude never helpful and if you have issues in your apartment it will take months before someone helps you. Additionally, if you need to transfer apartments during the summer, they will give you 48 hour notice on a whim and force you to move. I seriously avoid them at all cost if you can and rent from literally anyone else.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the lady at the office recently. I went in to have a calm and respectful conversation regarding a notice that had been left for a family member who lives in one of the apartments. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she immediately became defensive and accused me of having an "attitude," which was completely uncalled for. What shocked me the most was that she ended up accusing me of living in the apartment myself, simply because I showed concern about the notice.... read more
