Literally the worst people you can rent from in Whitewater. I have been renting from them the past two years and they are always rude never helpful and if you have issues in your apartment it will take months before someone helps you. Additionally, if you need to transfer apartments during the summer, they will give you 48 hour notice on a whim and force you to move. I seriously avoid them at all cost if you can and rent from literally anyone else.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with the lady at the office recently. I went in to have a calm and respectful conversation regarding a notice that had been left for a family member who lives in one of the apartments. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she immediately became defensive and accused me of having an "attitude," which was completely uncalled for. What shocked me the most was that she ended up accusing me of living in the apartment myself, simply because I showed concern about the notice.... read more
I was told to stay away, I should have listened. It is recommended to avoid the Kachel family at all costs when it comes to business related things such as renting a home or apt.
My nephew is a student at the university and moved into a very nice apartment of theirs. When I went with my sister to help him move in we all were very impressed with not only the property itself but how warm and professional Stephanie the young lady at their office was. Her quick and witty sense of humor had us all cracking up numerous times as well as feeling like we were at home with family right from the beginning. Highly recommend them for your housing needs in Whitewater.
