I’ve been to multiple weddings now as a vendor where he bails last minute on his brides and grooms and sends someone else. Currently at a wedding where he did that and the couple was notified of this two days before. He has done this at multiple other weddings I’ve been a vendor at. Nearlyweds beware!
if i could give a 0 i would. extremely unprofessional, terrible communicator, and rude. notified the planner a few hours before the ceremony that he would not be able to bring the photo booth that was promised in the contract. Last minute sent someone else to do the wedding and the guy that was sent was extremely rude. would not take song requests, no personality, not friendly AT ALL. even got mad at one of the flower girls for getting too close to the equipment and reprimanded her. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I hired Mike to DJ my wedding because I wanted him, not a stranger. After signing the contract, multiple vendors warned me that Mike has a reputation for flaking last minute and sending an outsourced DJ in his place while keeping a large cut of the payment. I confronted him about this directly and told him I only wanted him at my wedding. He assured me he would be there. 5 Stars DJ Mike was fantastic! He showed up early, was ready to go, and had great communication leading up to the event. He played the perfect mix of music to keep the vibe going during dinner and then got everyone up and dancing. I really appreciated how he kept the music clean but still fun and relevant for a 16th birthday party. He was super easy to work with and did an excellent job MCing and announcing—he even covered things I hadn’t thought of! I would definitely recommend him and will absolutely use him again.
DJ Mike is the BEST! He did the music for the whole wedding ceremony and reception for our son. He was so professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend him and will not hesitate to hire him in the future!
