When we got engaged, the first call I made was to book Leek. No brainer decision. Malik is so personable, fun and knowledgeable. He kept our event on time and MC'd flawlessly. He really picks up on the mood of the dance floor and makes sure the songs are vibing with the guests. Prior to the event, he really took the time to understand us a couple, our friends and family and the overall tone of our event. We're still getting compliments about the music and DJ! Our friend referred DJ Leek to us as a wedding DJ, and he exceeded ALL expectations! We felt like the music was the most important part of the reception, so it was important for us to choose someone who we felt was up to date on good music, could read the room, and helped us curate our playlist. He did all of that, and then even threw in some of his own mixes which was a HUGE hit - all of our guests were raving about the music and dance floor afterwards, and we agreed! Couldn't be happier with our choice to book DJ Leek.
We've worked with DJ Leek twice this past wedding season. It was at two very different weddings, with different expectations, music taste, and overall vibes. You can clearly tell that he's great at listening to what his client wants and creating an experience that mirrors that. We are recommending him to all of our wedding clients, and will continue to do so!
Malik is an awesome DJ. He is kind and professional. He took the time to meet with my wife and I several times to understand what we were looking for during our wedding reception. In addition to being a good DJ, he is also a great emcee. Would recommend for weddings or formal/corporate events.
