As a wedding planner, I coordinated a wedding where this DJ was hired by our mutual clients. He was scheduled to arrive 2 hours before the ceremony but never showed up and did not contact the couple, the venue, or the planning team. We do not recommend this DJ. He did not show up to our wedding, and we only found out about an hour before our ceremony after we repeatedly called and texted him. There was absolutely no communication from him before our wedding or afterward. We requested a refund multiple times through text and Zelle and never received a response or a refund. DJ Ja Boy was such a pleasure to work with and he does his job well!! I booked him for both ceremony and reception, he did an amazing job! Everything moved seamlessly throughout the ceremony and he was a great Emcee!! He kept the energy levels on the dance floor high and we really loved that he took requests from guests. Imagine paying someone to call the cops on your own party. If you plan on having a fun party don’t hire this guy. He will shut it down.

I hired this DJ for my 21st birthday party, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. I was so welcoming when he got there, offering food and drinks on the house so this energy that he gave was so disrespectful .Not only did the DJ fail to keep the energy up, but his wife, who was present at the event, caused even more issues.
