Our DJ was Lucas. He picked random guest to dj throughout the night who did not know how dj and would walk away from the booth without showing them how to dj…. Which, of course, made for a horrible experience. He said he took requests but did not play any songs requested. I've been meaning to write a review of them since I our 2022 wedding in KCMO. I would definitely go with this company again hands down. They were very open to suggestions and went through classics and whether or not we had any hard no songs. We advised of certain songs that we wanted to walk out to vs our wedding party and when we first stepped out, I thought they messed up as the wedding party song was playing but, it soon transitioned seamlessly into the one we had wanted. This company is awesome to work with. Very professional. They communicate very well through the months leading up very well. The DJ was very professional giving us signals to use when a dance needs to end and move on. This company made the reception for my son and daughter in law just that much more special.
If I could give more than a 5 star review I would. Austin was the best!! He wasn’t just a DJ but someone to look to for anything, the amount of times he checked on me and making sure I hydrated was more than just an DJ. If you are looking for a good DJ look no further!! Start the finish was hassle free.
From start to finish the process of hiring DJ Connection was smooth. They take the time to listen to everything you want in a DJ and figure out your music style preference. They send reminders and phone calls to get you finalized before the big day which was very much appreciated! We ended up getting super busy leading up to our wedding so it was great they reached out.
