I went in on 09/2011 and graduated 01/2012. Was only on my 2nd set of demerits and the reason for my 2nd set was because the last 2 or 3 weeks I would try and get the dorm smoked. Mostly because the group before me did the same exact thing. It was a great experience and most of the CO's were actually pretty decent. Would I do it again? More than likely

I now own a very successful lawn and landscape business from mowing lawns 13 years ago at Shawnee and the Wardens house. The wardens lake and the CO’s that ran the maintenance building were the only thing that kept me sane. I was one of the lucky ones that got to leave boot camp 5 days of the week, from 8am-3pm from day 31 to 118. 4/2012-7-2012. Went through with only 2 demerits. Played into there egos and learned all the cadence! THEY used to yell out. WILKINS! TAKE US TO CHOW! THEY SAY DOWN AT THE BOOTCAMP, THE FOOD IS MIGHTY FINE.
