One of the few places I've ever been where eating the Smashburger required some strategery about where and how the next bite should be taken. It's a big, mouth-watering burger that is exceptionally good. Side note: I'm not usually a fan of burgers "with everything" but that's definitely a good choice here. Great beer menu as well!
Best Burger in Iowa! 2026 Great Beer selection too Must do while in Decorah!
I expected the smash burgers to be good because I read about the award for best in the state. It was everything I expected and more . Reward yourself and visit Dixies Biergarten for the best of everything!
