We have been members for about 10 years. Throughout storms, tornadoes, and other challenges, Dixie Electric has provided consistent & exemplary service. All of our interactions with representatives have been helpful, courteous, and very professional. SRO
The power has been out close to 12 hours, and there’s no resolution. There’s no way of knowing when the power will be restored because you can’t get in touch with anyone.
The best electric cooperative I’ve dealt with. Our power usually stays in during severe weather, and when it goes out, they have it back on in no time. Prices are very fair. Their employees are courteous as well.
Worst place ever to get utilities from in Macon Co. I live in Tuskegee and I believe this company is overcharging the customers here. I use to work with an electric co so I can tell the signs. The billing statements come in 4-6 days before it's actually due, they are slow at coming out when there's an outage, the owners of this company is prejudice, and the automated system is outdated. The employees who answer the phones are unable to take payments and there's no programs to assist ppl in times of need such as this pandemic... read more
