Dixie Animal Hospital, not very good service. I took my cat Oreo, the Vet was very professional and really appreciate his help to treat my cat. The administration is other story, they charge you large amounts and make you sign all these releases under duress. No chance to even read it, there is no consistency. You have the feeling that you are only funding the business no interest in your animal, they offer all these follow up services but we called about 10 times and they never called back, they just wanted us to bring back... read more

I had brought my dog to this facility to be spayed. Throughout the entire process, I was unable to meet the veterinarian and was only attended to by technicians. This made me feel concerned, especially since I paid $1100 and never saw a veterinarian from the pre-operative assessment to discharge. I believe that, as a pet owner, I deserve to have direct communication with a veterinarian during such important procedures. Everyone who helped us through the ordeal of my dog's broken foot was just simply wonderful. They are all very concerned about the well-being of your pet. They took the time to explain everything and ensure that I understood the financial side of things as we went along. If I was not moving back to Guelph I would continue to bring my dog to the Dixie Road Hospital.
