Gorgeous aesthetic, amazing food, friendly staff. My Critiques: They need more staff. Or a bell, or a motion sensor. Something, anything. Because sometimes there's no one there, and you just stand around until a staff member shows up. The bar has a pretty limited selection and the drinks are EXPENSIVE. So for people looking for a place to drink I recommend going to a nearby bar or pub. They have no cash on-hand. The register was always empty so the server had to run to get change. Today I had dinner at the Divya Sutra Plaza hotel restaurant. The soup was ready, only spices were added along with twigs, the squid was a disaster, half raw, impossible to chew, half black fried. Caesar salad, nothing, just a trace of grated cheese. I also took a can of Coca Cola. I ate the soup, left it all. The waitress paid the bill properly, the guy left even more stupidly, when I looked at the bill she gave me two Cokes. He came back for cash for that one. Out of spite. Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights & on the 2nd night had dinner at the hotels restaurant… we were greeted by the lovely Heena at the entrance shown to our table & had a lovely dinner, food was exceptional for a decent price. May I say Heena was an exceptional waitress , courteous & always had a smile on her face. When next in Calgary we will be back .
