I would not recommend this dive experience for people travelling solo. I booked 2 dives with Ningaloo Dive Experience and unfortunately had quite a stressful and upsetting experience. Before the first dive, one crew member told me I would be diving with her. Shortly after, another crew member started a briefing with several people. I was sitting right next to them, but nobody invited me to join or explained whether the briefing concerned me. I was very impressed with Dive Ningaloo. my daughter and i just did our open water PADI with Alex as an instructor. He is a natural teacher, relaxed, informative and went at the perfect pace. A really nice guy that made the experience very easy. As a woman of 50+ I’m grateful he didn’t get frustrated at my terrible memory! The entire crew were friendly, helpful and organised. Great lunch and good equipment. Thanks heaps DN enjoy the season!
Unfortunately we were unable to join our Dive Ningaloo trip due to a pickup misunderstanding. We were waiting at the agreed pickup location (RAC campsite) from 8:50am and were not advised to wait anywhere specific, so waited in reception. When the bus didn’t arrive, we made several attempts to contact the team by phone, message and email, and I also walked to the office, but couldn’t reach anyone. My partner and I did a discovery dive and had a wonderful experience. Jaime, our guide, was exceptional and gave us a very memorable experience. Everything was incredibly safe, well organized, smooth running, and purely enjoyable!
