Treatment of customer varies case by case. The straighter your hair and lighter your skin tone the better you will be treated outright. I experienced a level of texturism, roughness, and terrible customer service I was naive to tell myself didn’t exist in the big year of 2025. Maria is the absolute best!!!! She is the only person I trust with styling and cutting my hair. I live in SC now but I wait until I visit the Cape to get my hair done so that Maria can do it. I love her!
