This is easily the best atmosphere for a gym in the entire City of La Crosse. There seems to always be a squat rack/deadlift area available since they have so many of them. I think there is something like 10-12 of them. If you are a visitor to the city, this is definitely the most unique gym to see too. I'm always looking for unique places like this when I travel to different cities. These days when everything has the same, soulless look, it's awesome to see places like this that want to stick out and be truly unique.
Nice place and equipment but I am not paying so much for a membership just for the inside to be 80 degrees… it was the same as outside and it gets uncomfortably sweaty in there even before working out. Please don’t be cheap and turn the AC on this makes me think I regret getting a membership here because it is crazy how hot it gets and the fans do nothing. :/
