I had an extremely disappointing experience in the emergency department. I arrived around 9 PM and waited for hours without ever being taken back to speak with a doctor. My lab results were completed around 11 PM, yet I was not informed that they were available until approximately 3 AM. During the wait, we approached staff at least four separate times simply asking for an update. Not once were we given an estimated timeframe or a meaningful update about what was happening.
