I called the DA’s office ahead of time to confirm a pickup of a document. I was informed I should urgently drive from Metairie to Reserve to pick up that document because “they may close early”. Once I arrive they have my document, but it’s not signed by a lawyer. Okay it’s the DA office have a lawyer sign it. Impossible, because there’s no lawyer there on a Thursday afternoon at 1pm.
