Very tasty Pho, very nice people. I will be back to this place. I sat in and ate, and had some nice chats with the owner and his Mom. I love that!
The portions were small and there was very little meat used on my vermicelli. The sauces were runny and watered down. I have never seen peanut sauce the consistency of water until now. The food was tasteless with little flavor.
The price was decent and the menu looked tasty so we gave it a shot. The place is cute and the staff was friendly. The portions were much smaller than we were used to from other Vietnamese restaurants but we would have been fine if the food was tasty. However the food was completely devoid of flavour. The peanut sauce was the consistency of water and didn’t even taste like peanuts. The hot chili oil had zero spice and I might as well have put straight vegetable oil on my dish. came here for the first time and i was intrigued by the banh mi fries with steak - YUMM it’s like a vietnamese poutine. the fries were so nice and crispy not soggy at all, and the owners simon and tommy told me they made the mayo themselves and pickled the carrots too. never had anything like this - i’ve never seen this kind of item at a viet restaurant, so unique. i highly recommend you try it out! i also had a cream soda which i hardly see at restaurants so i was excited to have it last but not least i had a banh mi sub wi... read more
