One of my favorite places. The bog is so neat! It is so special to us. Educational from the story walks, all the mushrooms, animals, and plant. So many fun things to do.
Visited for the first time yesterday. The nature trail is great, especially for the kiddos. I’m so glad I found this. It is beautiful and well maintained. We also met the owner Michael and he is very welcoming and knowledgeable!!Thank you

Thanks for the kudos, Danielle!
Had a great day exploring the trails.

In the nature walk there are activities and educational sites that are hands on and perfect for the kiddos. In the build your own fairy house my fiancé proposed to me! I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Micheal made our time there very special as well. His company was so enjoyable. He taught us a lot and we will be going back and adventuring some more. We are looking forward to th... read more

Great little adventure spot. We enjoyed looking for fairy houses, building our own and meandering through the woods on the cute path with so much to see. Thank you!
This is a great spot for anyone but especially families with littles. There's a lot of biological exploring to do with vernal pools and flora. The trail really is accessible for strollers and even walkers and wheelchairs.
Distant Hill Nature Trail offers a relaxed walk through a pine forest of looping packed gravel trails. There are some small, gentle inclines but the trails are mostly flat. This is not a strenuous hike, but truly peaceful. It would also be a great little hike with children. Walk to the left of the kiosk and you can step across the solid log bridge, onto the floating plank walkways and meander across the bog. The bog walk is enchanting. A short walk from the parking area, through the main gate, leads to an inviting forest pla... read more
