pretty good – We had fun staying at the Yacht Club. The room was nice and clean. The pools are a lot of fun and it wasn't crowded, even on the 4th of July. It's Disney, so everything is expensive, but if you can get around that, it's a good place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only con I can think of is that it was a reallly long & many, many-turns walk from our room to get to the elevators and to the pools and such, so I didn't feel comfortable even letting my 12 and 13 year old walk alone.
Amazing rooms – I've stayed at the Yacht Club every year(over 18 times!). I am so in love with the whole resort. The pool is AMAZING. As well as the room decor. It's more upscale then the Beach Club in my opinion. I've stayed on the VIP floor once and it's amazing. Worth the extra money for free food and drinks whenever you please. I'm scared to try any other hotel because i'm worried it won't match up to the Yacht Club!
Close proximity to Disney parks, staff, kid friendly – We really liked this resort. It's almost the same as the Beach Club, but with a different theme. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We found our room to be charming and comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake from our balcony which was really nice to come back to after a long day.
Fantastic Atmosphere – The hotel and staff were absolutely fabulous. I have never stayed at such a casual yet fancy friendly place. Kudos to Disney on there staff training.
Very Disappointing – For a so-called luxury resort, Disney sure disappointed. Cheap worn towels, no tissues, hair in the bathroom from a previous visitor. Even at breakfast, when we went to get a cup of coffee, we were charged $1.89 for a cup of hot water and 2 packets of instant mix. Jeez, at a so-called four-star luxury resort, at least mix the powdered mix and water together for us. Am I picky? Sure. But this kind of thing I would expect at a Motel 6, not a $300 a night luxury resort.
This nautical-themed resort is a nod to early 1900's Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. – The Scene Designed by famed architect Robert A.M. Stern, this 635-room (including 30 suites) hotel emulates the turn-of-the-century look of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The nautical theme is ever-present, surrounded by beautiful landscaping filled with Japanese elm, Bradford pear trees, magnolias, crepe myrtle and other vegetation native to New England. The Details Each room has a separate vanity area, television, mini-bar and French ... read more
