It is perfectly choreographed. The bush/river pilot demonstration, dog sled running, fish smoking, and other activities start and finish on cue. The narration is engaging, informative, and fun. The village visit is educational and pleasant. The boat ride itself is very comfortable, thanks to the skillful crew. Very highly recommend this uplifting experience!

Lots of information about native culture and the local area. The stops at Butcher/Monson kennels and Chena Village were great.

We had a delightful time aboard the Riverboat Discovery. Enjoyed all the narratives and the demonstrations as well as the friendly, unhurried pace. Well done !
3rd trip to Alaska and 1st time on the riverboat. One of my favorite memories!
Great way to spend a few hours in Fairbanks. Friendly staff, nice river ride, great views. The family style lunch at the end was the perfect way to end it as well.
