Zero Stars My horrible experience with the dishonest Management of Morada Burleson & their parent company Discover Senior Living. My Father was Hospitalized while we were looking for Respite care. Jennifer the Director of the facility told me that I have to sign the contract and make the payment and that if my father could not check in that we would be refunded. If 0 stars were an option, that is what I would have done. We moved our parents into Discovery Village Forum. The first day they were there they did have enough room keys or emergency buttons, so my father didn’t, having stroke induced dementia, didn’t have one, my mother received it to cover both of them. The first week, they had no TV service, we were told several stories. The first weekend they had no phone service. My parents were terrified they couldn’t hear from us. This company is a horrible company to even think about visiting. This company changes the names constantly and there is a reason for it. They are raising their prices not by 1-2% but by triple that! And they have no reason for it but response is “if the residents can’t afford it, kick them out in 30 days”….having a loved one in one of your communities who will be moving out and we re letting all the residents know so they can find a place else where. I live at Seaton Voorhees and all they do is RAISE the rent and cut services, Corporate never returns phone calls! Manager of property or whatever you call her comes and goes as she pleases. The other day lunches were not brought out of the kitchen until 12:50. Her solution - shut out the light in her office, lock the door, and go home!
