As the Director of Discovery Point i feel the need to correct my centers reputation. I would never allow my staff to be disrespectful to any parent. Every center has a daily sheet that tells about your child's day as well as always receiving feed back from the teacher.There will also be times that you drop off and pick up in the same spot but every child is rotated every 15 minutes to different equipment as well as free play on the floor equipment with friends. I wouldn't trust this center to watch the fleas on my non-existent dog. The teachers are horrible and the directors allow them to be. They do not communicate with parents about what their child does throughout the day. They believe that giving a list of changed diapers and feedings are enough communication and that comes via a piece of paper. During our first week there, I picked up my child and his face and hands were different with food from a feeding an hour prior to me getting there. When we dropped off on two days that ... read more

I like Discovery Point. The center is clean and bright. My son enjoys attending the after-school program. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I read over the other reviews and I totally disagree w/ the other parents. I say please go to Discovery Point yourself to gainan appreciation for the center. People are quick to write negative reviews. So I wanted to express how pleased I was with the center. Before starting my current job I worked in the child care industry and had the luxury of bringing my daughter w/ me. So I was very selective when choosing a center for my child to spend 8 hrs a day.
