I don’t know if anyone’s realized - childcare is the most needed, least appreciated necessity in America. For the last two years, DP has met that need for my family (we’ve utilized the young toddler class up to the after school program, to include the GA PreK program). I would not recommend this daycare. There is an extremely high turnover rate among teachers and management, which is concerning for consistency and stability for children. Cleanliness and health standards are a major issue. I observed roaches throughout the building, including classrooms and supply areas. Meals are also MICROWAVED daily. I’ve been really impressed with our experience at DP Acworth. The director, Pauline, is outstanding. She’s very present, active in the classrooms, and genuinely cares about the kids. You can always count on Ms. Christina greeting you with a smile behind the desk each morning, too! Every teacher has been wonderful, as well. Discovery Point Acworth is an amazing facility overall! Every teacher I’ve encountered shows incredible love and dedication to the children, and I’m so grateful for that. The front desk staff is always welcoming and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The director is outstanding—her leadership and genuine care for both the children and their families truly set this place apart.
