Had a great experience getting open water scuba certified with James Esenwein! He was amazingly patient and knowledgeable! Both Bryan at Discovery Dive World and James were really flexible in order to get me certified amidst winter weather and a tight schedule. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor!!
My husband and I signed up for a private lesson because we couldn't make it to their class...Best solution ever! So I went from zero experience to a certified open water diver in a day and a half! And our instructor, James, was amazing! I was a little wimpy and scared about some skills, but he took me through it step by step and I made it! Thanks James! Tip: Wear sunscreen on the pool day...
I absolutely love Discovery Dive World. Brian is always kind and helpful. Classes were good and the instructors well chosen. I cannot express how much I love this place.
Went up there earlier today to check out the equipment they had in stock. Told the owner I couldn't dive due to my medical conditions but asked about any places that are best for snorkeling and he recommended the Destin Jetties.

Thanks to James and Discovery Dive World for the opportunity to get certified as an Open Water Diver. SCUBA diving is something I've always wanted to do but never had the chance until now. The dive class was amazing and worth the drive from Pensacola. I learned a lot over the two weekends while having a ton of fun. The gear they provided for the class was brand new.
