The Chandlery was first opened in the 1980's when the marina was established. Meet the Business Owner Dave and Lisa B. Business Owner We are a happy family with one daughter, two dogs and four cats. We have been residents of Discovery Bay for over 25 years. We love to go out in the boat and play on the water.

RecommendedLast week Labor Day. My. Boat stopped dead on the water. I had no idea what was going on. I called Dave Black. He said. “ hold on! I’ll be there in 10 Minutes. “. Not only did he assess the problem PDQ. Within 1 hour I was up and running. ! LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. The Chandlery! They seem to work 24/7 for their customers. So reasonably priced. Lisa is the best. These business owners should teach classes on how to run a successful business and earn loyal customers. !

Yesterday (Sunday) 5:00 pm our boat over heats and we are an hour by water from home. We called, and they were upfront with potential costs. Dave came to our rescue and fixed our issue. Otherwise we would have had to leave our boat and worry all night if it was safe. Thank you Dave and Lisa!
I have been using Discovery Bay Chandelry for many years. The current owners just "get it". On the water or at your waterfront home boat service just can't be beat. I buy boat parts there and Dave and Lisa always have what I need - even though they are smaller than West Marine. OK, sometimes they have to order stuff, but they are pretty good at that too.
