This is my first time coming to a MSW and will probably be my last. I think there are significant training differences between MSWs and LPCs in terms of helping clients process emotions and experiences without passing judgement or directing the session. I only had two sessions with Edna and I felt as though she completely invalidated my experience and had no direction of trying to understand me as a client.
