It appears that Discover Solar didn't wnt to provide a quote to install a battery system for our existing solar set up because there wasn't enough money in for them. According to the infomration I received, they didn't want to do it because the government apparently paid for the current system, which is not true. 15 months on since the installation of my JA Solar Deep Blue 4.0 Pro system, I couldn't be happier. Even in Winter my solar panels way exceeded my expectations of what they would deliver. In Summer I'm nowhere using enough of the energy generated so I'll have to discuss a battery, which hopefully will assist in the many power supply interruptions we have in Ballan, Vic.
Discovery Solar were excellent - I was after a heat pump hot water system with an indoor tank / external pump, and largest possible solar install for a 2-storey townhouse. Several other companies approached wouldn't touch it, as it was something a little different and challenging, but Bruno was more than willing to take the work on, and the results were fantastic. Very happy with the overall installation, reasonable pricing, and Bruno's guidance throughout. Would happily endorse them.
