Questionable training for true dual diagnosis treatment. Whoever we spoke with for intake escalated our son, who was initially willing to attend treatment, into panic over his Valium prescription. Instead of using a more sensitive or compassionate approach to this conversation, this person- despite clear caution from me prior to her conversation with him, gave a hardline answer resulting in him escalating to a panic attack that lasted several hours. Thank you Discover Recovery for helping give me my life back. I’m glad I came into treatment, I needed tools to help me deal with life on life’s terms. Staff were all great and the kitchen was really accommodating. Patient advocates!
