5 star experience from discovercar. I booked a SUV for my queenstown trip in Feb 2026, got the confirmation straightaway. I opted for a rav4. Upon arrival, their driver from the rental provider was ready to pick us up. Customer service by HAO rentals were superb and very welcoming. I got the rav4 which was in decent condition. On return, their driver dropped us back at the airport. Would definitely recommend their services. They had a best prices at the time of our booking.

Worst company to hire car from! Their phone number is disconnected when provided screenshot of emails and phone call attempts to get your refund back for their “full protection” insurance they drag on and on and just refuse to pay up. Never again will hire from your bs company. Ended up with hiring from alpha car hire very good !

1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience We had one of the worst customer service experiences with this car rental. When we arrived, we called the contact number provided for pick-up assistance. The person who answered was extremely uncooperative and showed no empathy at all. He gave very brief directions and did not bother to ensure we understood them.
