This was yrs ago but I have other people say they are the same. I took my car in when others wanted $2000.00 just to look at it and if you then don't want them to work on it they will hand you your transmission in a box. We decided to try discount and they were so great. A part had come loose and they tightened it. At first they wanted $30.00 but then told me no charge. It was refreshing to be treated so honestly.

Had to make this account just to leave a great review for Fred and his guys over at discount transmission. My 2006 SS impala needed a rebuild. This place did it for an awesome price with a few added modifications to ensure this transmission is more durable. 1535 dollars and out the door! 3 months later ......PERFECT! Thanks Fred! Also my father in law had a Ford Escape transmission rebuilt there over 2 years ago....no problems! Thanks for being an awesome local small establishment!

They rebuilt my transmission and saved me a lot of money! I had another quote that was much higher than Discount Transmission gave me. They did the job on time and for the price they had quoted me! I would use them again and refer them to others!

Awesome Service at unbelievable prices!.......I am a very satisfied customer and I wanted to share this because normaly you only hear negative comments on businesses....people who are satisfied only comment 5% of the time nationally......The mechanics that work here know what they are doing and does it extremely well.......I have experience in the auto service industry but am now disabled. Being the best and the knowledge of everyone in the business sold me immediatly and my Jeep NOW purrs down the highway!

This place delt with me fair and square. Owner has a guaranteed not to exceed price which was still better than the big rip off chains. Personal, local ownership is much better. They seem to really care about what they do. If you want a good deal at a good price this is the place.

I went there to get a rebuild on my transmission. They are all snakes and let me say why before you ever decide to go there. I brought a 3000gt up there because the prices seem fair and it was backed by the better buisness bureau. My tranny went back out 2 months later and they backed out on their warranty. They said they would provide labor if i bought a transmission for them to put in. I did and they put it in.... sad thing is the car didnt make it but 2 miles down the street. I'm not sure what happened to this other person but when I took my car there it was after another place (starts with AA) told me it would be $3,500 to fix. I took it to Discount and they we fair and honest and found out I only needed a small part and adjustment and they saved me thousands by being honest. They could have stuck it to me. So the place doesn't win a beauty contest. I think that helps them keep the prices low. I referred a friend and they treated him right too. I would highly recommend.

They are in it for the money the owner Fred is a real pistol. He is like dealing with a snake oil salesman. when you pull up to his business the look of it is about as good of service you are going to get.He does not take care of the apperance of his business nor his customers.
